1) Dayou Lu was born in Nanjing, China on November 24th, 1958 to Present (age 63). His education was in 1996-1999 Bachelor of Chinese Painting Department, Central Academy of Fine Arts Beijing, China.
2) Has worked on the Chinese ink painting for nearly 50 years, and is well-known for the Double Colored Water-ink Paintings; held dozens of solo exhibitions in the U.S., Canada, Sweden, Russia, and Japan
3) His works have been collected by domestic & foreign art galleries, museums, collection institutions n& individuals. Some were presented by the gov. as a national gift to leaders of countries & regions
4) He is a part of many associations, from being the president, vice president, or member. Some being the CAA, CDNCA, KRO, and IAA. He is the Deputy Dean of the Chinese Academy of Ink Painting Art.
5) In 2002, he was awarded the "Outstanding Chinese Painting Talent" by the Ministry of Personnel of P.R. China. His influences are Dawei Liu, Maosheng Gai, and Baishi Qi.
6) He has published more than 20 personal art albums in recent years, and more than 100 artworks have been included in newspapers and comprehensive albums.
